Self-observation and self-inquiry is where it begins. If one can’t self-observe, one can’t self-correct. The Enneagram unveils our true identity, the core essence of our being. It reveals and exposes parts of our developed personalities and behaviors that have created limitations within ourselves and the world in which we live. These limitations keep us from fully experiencing life – the one that was designed uniquely for each and every one of us.
Having this awareness, feeling the difference, and believing there is another way is where change starts. This alone is truly a gift, as from it comes the transitional inspiration necessary to apply tools that resonate with one’s way of learning. We can then arrest patterns that do not serve, and finally align ourselves with the truth, that beautiful essence with which we were born, leaving behind manufactured states of our ego.
